Being underweight isn’t a crime but the people we are surrounded with make us feel like one. There is no such thing as Perfect’s definition. When you are happy with your body and have an amazing mental diet you are Perfect. Don’t let society tell you that “you are too fat”, “ you are too thin”, “oh my god you are underweight, you must be sick”.

Being underweight may be caused by excessive metabolism rate or by heredity, which doesn’t signify you are sick or unhealthy.

People will always find ways to mock you, criticize you, and all these just to bring you down and put you off of your path. It gets hard to motivate owns yourself when you know your flaws, but don’t be your worst critic. Everyone has flaws, figure them out work on them, and change the definition.

The gym is not the only answer to weight gain, there are other ways as well to gain weight at home, and you can do it along with your gym workout.

Excessive eating of fast food won’t help you gain weight it will not help but gain unnecessary fat on your body, which will be even harder to lose.

Foods that will help gain weight at home-

  1. Rice-boiled rice will help you gain faster than you think. Every day for lunch and for dinner have 2cups of boiled rice with the preferred side dish.
  2. Potato-Any type of carbohydrate helps with body weight. Boiled potato or any type of potato dish will work, just have to be every day.
  3. Banana-the best fruit full of calcium will help you gain weight.4 bananas every day for breakfast and lunch. And one can have it as snacks as well rather than chips.
  4. Dates- every day with breakfast for at least 10-12 dates.
  5. Red meat- pork, mutton or beef, any kind of red meat is very necessary for gaining weight.
  6. Peanut- you can have it as butter or normal, but consistently.
  7. Eggs- most important, it has high calorie about 155-200. Best to have it boiled every day if you tolerate then 3times a day will also work. But as eggs produce lots of heat in the body be careful.
  8. Diary products- milk, yogurt, ice creams, cheese, etc. If you are not lactose intolerant.
  9. Fatty fish- homemade fish dishes are a must.

High protein meat or fish is big yes.

Apart from food, there are a lot of exercises to gain weight the easiest is cardio, go for a sprint every day.

Weight lifting dumbles are helpful along with good protein bars after gym.
